Through extensive research and development efforts we have resolved the heating efficiency, emissions control and and pavement quality problems that have previously hindered growth in the use of Hot In-Place Asphalt Recycling.
Blue Smoke Problem Resolved
Most HIR systems use open flame or infrared heating systems which can overheat and burn the surface, creating excessive blue smoke emissions, and greenhouse gases.
Recirculating Hot Air System
1. The Low Oxygen Burner minimises oxidation.
2. Pollutants are incinerated
3. Hot Air heats surface, without overheating.
4. The Fan vacuums the air back up for reuse.
5. A portion of the Heated Air is exhausted.
