JP6000 HIR = Reuse and Reduce
The JP6000 Hot In-Place Asphalt Recycling System, restores aged pavements to a “like new” condition while reducing energy consumption, carbon emissions, lane closure time and the use of non-renewable paving materials.

75% Reduction in New Paving Materials
The JP6000 recycles and reuses 100% of the existing paving materials on-site, adding only about 20% new material compared to 80% with conventional remove-and-replace methods (mill and fill). This translates to just 6 loads of new material per lane kilometer, in contrast to 24 loads with mill and fill.
90% Reduction in Trucking
Using the JP6000, the total number of truckloads for reclaimed and new paving materials is only 6, compared to 60 loads with the mill and fill method. This results in significant reductions in fuel consumption, carbon emissions, and traffic disruption.

Doubles the Life of Paving Materials
JP6000 is a Pavement Preservation method that doubles the life of high quality paving materials namely crushed aggregates and asphalt binder.
Highways require constant maintenance
The World Bank estimates that there are more than 25 million kilometers of paved roads worldwide. Each year, hundreds of thousands of kilometers of roads must have their 40 to 50 mm surfaces removed and replaced to keep them safe and functional..

New Materials = 57% of Carbon Emissions
According to the National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA), over half of the cradle-to-gate carbon emissions for paved roadways originate from the extraction, processing, and transportation of new paving materials to the asphalt plant before construction even begins.
