The Windrow Heater
Conventional HIR systems struggle to achieve consistent recycle mix temperatures >110C. This machine raises the temperature of the hot-milled windrow from 110°C to 140°C.

How It Works
This machine applies forced hot air to the windrow while continuously mixing it in a low-oxygen environment. This increases the windrow temperature from 110°C to 140°C and enables more consistent temperatures throughout the mix.
Why It Works
When heated to 140°C, the asphalt binder becomes more liquefied, allowing for better mixing with the rejuvenator. Continuous mixing during heating promotes uniform temperatures throughout the mix. The increase in mix temperature improves workability, smoothness, and compaction.
